Return and Refund Policy

DEEPA'S VASTHRAALAYAM – RETURN, REFUND & EXCHANGE POLICY

At Deepa's Vasthraalayam, we strive to provide high-quality products and excellent customer service. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

1. DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT PRODUCTS

Every product undergoes quality checks before dispatch. However, damage may occasionally occur during transit.

If you receive a damaged, defective, misprinted, incorrect, or incomplete product, you must notify us within 3 days of delivery.

Required Evidence

A clear unboxing video recorded from the moment the sealed package is opened until the product is fully inspected.

Clear photographs of the product showing the issue.

Clear photographs of the outer courier packaging.

Important

Claims submitted without sufficient evidence may be rejected.

Requests submitted after 3 days of delivery will not be eligible for replacement, refund, or exchange.

2. PRINTED & CUSTOMIZED PRODUCTS (NO SIZE RETURNS OR EXCHANGES)

Printed T-shirts, customized apparel, personalized products, and made-to-order items are produced specifically based on the customer's selected size and order details.

Therefore, returns, refunds, and exchanges due to incorrect size selection are not accepted.

Customers are advised to:

Carefully review the size chart before placing an order.

Confirm all size and customization details before completing checkout.

Once production begins, size changes, design changes, or order modifications may not be possible.

3. REGULAR CLOTHING – SIZE EXCHANGE ELIGIBILITY

The following non-customized products may be eligible for size exchange, subject to verification:

Nighties

Regular T-Shirts

Shirts

Pants & Trousers

Women's Kurtas

Leggings

Tops

Dresses

Other eligible non-custom apparel

Exchange Conditions

Product must be unused, unwashed, and unworn.

Original tags and packaging must remain intact.

Exchange request must be raised within 3 days of delivery.

Product must pass our quality inspection after return.

Products failing inspection may be returned to the customer without replacement or refund.

4. UNBOXING & PACKAGE DAMAGE POLICY

Customers are strongly advised to record a continuous unboxing video while opening their package.

If damage occurs due to improper handling, cutting tools, scissors, knives, or customer negligence during unboxing, Deepa's Vasthraalayam will not be responsible.

If the Package Appears Damaged

Take photographs before opening the package.

Record a complete unboxing video.

Contact our support team immediately.

All claims will be verified using submitted evidence and courier records.

5. REFUNDS

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during purchase.

Refund processing typically takes 4–7 business days after approval and successful return verification.

Actual credit timelines may vary depending on the customer's bank, payment provider, or payment gateway.

6. NON-RETURNABLE & NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS

The following items are not eligible for return or refund unless received damaged, defective, or incorrect:

Customized Products

Personalized Products

Made-to-Order Items

Products returned without original tags or packaging

Products showing signs of use, washing, damage, or alteration by the customer

7. ORDER CANCELLATION

Orders may be cancelled before production, packing, or dispatch begins.

Once an order has entered production, customization, packing, or shipping stages, cancellation requests may not be accepted.

Approved cancellation refunds will be processed according to our refund procedures.

8. COPYRIGHT NOTICE

All artwork, designs, graphics, logos, branding materials, product designs, and website content are the intellectual property of Deepa's Vasthraalayam.

Unauthorized copying, reproduction, resale, distribution, modification, or commercial use is strictly prohibited.

Legal action may be taken against any infringement of our intellectual property rights.

9. GENERAL RETURN WINDOW

All eligible return, refund, replacement, or exchange requests must be raised within 3 days of delivery.

Requests received after the specified period will not be accepted.
